Colorado State faces challenge up front from Minnesota

FORT COLLINS — Not just big, but fast.

That's how Colorado State offensive coordinator and line coach Will Friend describes the Minnesota defensive front the Rams have to find a way to handle. So far this year, the Gophers haven't been good at one thing, but strong at everything.

Through two games, Minnesota is allowing less than 100 yards a game on the ground to opponents and have yet to yield to a rushing touchdown. When teams drop back, they haven't had much time as the Gophers have already accumulated six sacks after registering just 22 all of last season.
