FORT COLLINS — Naturally, it was an area of concern, because nothing had happened to change the perception.
It wasn't as if Colorado State's defense burned a path to quarterbacks last season, and nothing that happened in spring camp gave the coaching staff a sudden bolt of encouragement.
With a change in defense and a new defensive front, creating a pass rush was a major focus again in fall camp, but again, not much had changed head coach Mike Bobo's mind, or that of defensive coordinator Marty English.
The criticism was hard to swallow, and they got sick of hearing about it and set out to change the storyline.
