The Magnificent Seven have at least one more act left.
Colorado State basketball received a 4 seed in the NIT and will host No. 5 the College of Charleston in the first round on Tuesday at Moby Arena (7 p.m., ESPN3).
CSU will be making its 20th postseason appearance, its third in five seasons under coach Larry Eustachy, and its ninth in the NIT. As a 1 seed two years ago, the Rams were upset by South Dakota State at home in the first round of the NIT.
Down to just seven scholarship players since late January, the Rams (23-11) made a surprising run at the regular season Mountain West championship, winning 10 of 11 before coming up a game short to Nevada, which also beat CSU in the MW tournament championship on Saturday.
