FORT COLLINS — The Colorado State men's basketball team is off to a 5-1 start and is playing some of its best defense ever under fifth-year coach Larry Eustachy.
But the reality is, the perception of this season's team will largely be defined by how it plays Wednesday night at rival Colorado.
It might not be right, but it's probably true.
"I think it's not fair, but it happened to football. Football never recovered until last game, really," Eustachy said, referring to CSU football's season-opening 44-7 loss to CU.
