Colorado State basketball loses its sixth straight road game

Colorado State's road struggles culminated with an 87-73 loss at Fresno State late Wednesday night at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.

The Rams dropped their sixth straight away game in their road finale to fall to 15-15 overall and 7-10 in the Mountain West, falling into a tie for seventh with Utah State.

The loss eliminates any chance CSU had a for a first-round bye in next week's conference tournament. The Rams will wrap up regular season play Saturday at home against Air Force.

Fresno State took the lead for good 7 minutes in during an 11-0 run and led for the game's final 33 minutes and 54 seconds.
