AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Colorado State basketball's tumultuous 2017-18 season continued to trend in the wrong direction Tuesday night.
Playing their second straight game without head coach Larry Eustachy, who was put on administrative leave Saturday while athletic director Joe Parker completes his investigation of the program, the Rams suffered their seventh straight loss in falling to host Air Force, 78-73.
It's the longest losing streak for CSU (10-16, 3-10 Mountain West) since the 2007-08 campaign when the Rams lost 17 in a row during Tim Miles' first year in Fort Collins. That was also the last time the Falcons swept the regular season series between the two in-state rivals, following up a five-point win at CSU last month that began the Rams' skid.
