FORT COLLINS — The Rams have never been so happy to be back in the Fort.
Colorado State's recent three-game road trip saw them lose all three games by an average of 19 points. Worse yet, the Rams' travel itinerary was brutal.
On their way out to Montego Bay, Jamaica, they stopped in Kansas City and Fort Lauderdale for games last weekend against Tulane and Florida State. Then it was off to Las Cruces, New Mexico, but first they had connecting flights through Houston and San Antonio on the way to El Paso, where they took a 50-minute bus ride to Las Cruces for Wednesday's game against at New Mexico State.
