FORT COLLINS — A struggle at times early in the first half, Colorado State used a big second half to beat visiting Colorado State-Pueblo, 89-65, in an exhibition on Saturday night at Moby Arena.
The Rams trailed by as many as eight in the first half against the Division-II ThunderWolves, who also gave New Mexico a run for its money in an exhibition earlier this week.
CSU, though, grabbed a 39-35 halftime lead with a closing 12-3 run. The Rams then went up double digits for good midway through the second half, leading by 20 for most of the final 4 minutes.
