The Colorado State men's basketball team on Thursday announced the addition of Minnesota transfer Kevin Dorsey.
As a Division I transfer, Dorsey will have to sit out the 2016-17 season and has three years of eligibility.
The 6-foot point guard was a highly regarded prospect coming out of high school, rated by multiple sites as a four-star recruit. But he had a rocky freshman season with the Gophers.
After averaging 6.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in the season's first 26 games, he was suspended for the final four games by coach Richard Pitino for a violation of team rules.
