Colorado State athletics lands new radio partner

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State athletics has a new radio home, just in time to broadcast the Green and Gold spring football game.

CSU and Learfield Ram's Sports Properties, the school's multi-media partner, announced Tuesday a three-year contract that makes KARS 102.9 FM in Fort Collins (part of the Townsquare Media Northern Colorado group) the flagship station for CSU football and men's and women's basketball, with Denver-based Mile High Sports delivering the action football and men's basketball in that market on KDCO 1340 AM, as well as select women's basketball games. With both basketball teams contracted, on days there is a conflict (mainly during Mountain West play), the women's games will move to KMAX 94.
