FORT COLLINS — Colorado State coach Mike Bobo wanted to do a true spring game, like last year, but in looking at the numbers, he just doesn't think it's feasible.
The Rams have dealt with some injuries this spring, but that's not the issue for him.
"I would say a lot to do with the 20-something seniors we graduated," Bobo said after Tuesday's practice. "We've got about the same number of injuries that everybody has in spring ball. I'd traditionally like to draft teams or play a true game, but just because of some depth issues, especially at linebacker, a little bit up front and at corner, so that guys can play with both 1s and 2s, we'll go offense vs.
