Colorado State added its second running back commitment of the 2016 class, when McDonogh 35 (LA) prep star Darius May announced his intentions to sign at CSU on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
May, who committed to Tulane last May, visited CSU last week along with six other potential prospects, including two players already committed to CSU for 2016. He is rated as a two-star prospect by recruiting service Rivals.com and held offers from Louisiana-Lafayette, Tulane and Western Kentucky.
Rashaad Boddie, CSU’s other running back commitment, pledged to the Rams on Sept. 18, and CSU could add one or two more running backs to the class depending on any attrition at the position.
