The Denver Broncos have signed offensive tackle Sam Carlson and waived wide receiver Marlon Brown, the team announced Thursday morning.
Carlson, a rookie out of Colorado State, was signed by the Tenessee Titans after going undrafted in this year’s draft but was cut by the team on Friday. The Colorado native and started 26 games at CU, playing all the positions along the offensive line during his time in For Collins and garnering honorable mention All-Mountain West honors his senior year.
Brown, who was making an impact during his short time in Denver, re-aggravated the back injury he suffered last season in Baltimore, ultimately leading to his release.
