Mock’s win lifts Rams in poll
The Colorado State men’s cross country team has jumped five spots to No. 25 in the latest USTFCCCA Division I National Coaches Poll.
The leap made in the polls was in large part the result of Jerrell Mock’s performance at the Mountain West championships Friday, where the team finished in second-place overall. Mock won the individual MW title by a resounding 14-second margin.
CSU remains ranked fifth in the USTFCCCA’s Mountain Region. The only MW team ranked ahead of the Rams is reigning conference champions Air Force. The women’s team, which finished fourth overall at the MW championships, remained ranked eighth in the Mountain Region.
