FORT COLLINS — Mike Bobo wanted an eraser.
After watching Colorado State's defense surrender 15 scoring plays in 2015 that covered 30 yards or longer — nine of them rushes — he went in search of a player who could play in the back end of the defense and cover sideline to sideline and run down a breakaway threat.
He found what he was looking for in the long, lean Braylin Scott, who had spent his true freshman year playing on special teams and at corner. Scott's build made him suited for the outside, too.
