Bobo, Rams get commitment from junior college tackle

After making waves with his recent commits from wide receivers, Colorado State head coach Mike Bobo beefed up his future offensive line Sunday. Ben Knox, a four-star prospect by ESPN coming out of high school, committed to joining the green and gold for the 2017 season.

Knox was suspended from South Florida’s program last year and transferred to Independence Community College in Kansas. The 6-foot-6, 295-pounder played at left tackle this fall.

The lineman from Deland, Florida had offers in high school from Utah, Tennessee, Marshall, Louisville, Iowa, Florida, North Carolina State and USF.

In addition to CSU, Knox had scholarship offers to play at Iowa State, Arkansas State, New Mexico State and North Texas in 2017.
