FORT COLLINS — Tight end Kivon Cartwright was on the practice field with Colorado State Tuesday and doing drill work during the open part of practice.
“He looked good in practice today, so I feel like he’s going to be good to go,” CSU coach Mike Bobo said after practice, referring to the Rams’ matchup against Minnesota Saturday at Hughes Stadium.
Cartwright, awarded a medical hardship sixth season of eligibility last March after he played in only one game before undergoing additional ankle surgery, walked slowly to the dressing room during the second quarter of the 65-13 win over Savannah State Saturday.
