FORT COLLINS — Wednesday's arrest of Colorado State senior guard Gian Clavell, who was charged with false imprisonment with a domestic violence enhancer, began with a phone call his ex-girlfriend made five days earlier to the CSU Police Department inquiring about how to get a restraining order, according to an arrest report by CSUPD.
Clavell, who was expected to be the team's top player this season, has been suspended by the university's athletic department indefinitely. Wednesday was the second time in the past 16 months that he has been arrested and charged with false imprisonment.
