Antwan Scott has made it. He’s officially a professional basketball player.
Scott has long dreamt of playing professionally, especially in the NBA, and he’s coming closer as a part of the Denver Nuggets summer league team he told BSN Wednesday afternoon. The 24-year old reports to the Nuggets summer league squad on Saturday.
If you haven’t read Scott’s backstory, it’s heartbreaking, but it’s also what pushed him to Colorado State and into the position to now show the pros what he’s made of. Having his mother in a coma for two years and eventually seeing her pass on was what turned him into a self professed “gym rat” who improved his craft, especially on the offensive end, with the Rams.
