Niko Medved and the Colorado State basketball team received some comforting news this week when they learned guard Anthony Masinton-Bonner avoided a serious achilles injury during the Rams' victory over Air Force on Tuesday night.
Masinton-Bonner limped off the floor early in the first half of the win and returned after halftime in a walking boot and street clothes on the bench. Though the extent of the injury was unknown immediately following the game, Medved said after practice on Thursday that the guard is taking things day-by-day and is expected to miss Saturday's game against New Mexico.
