Whatever happened the week before didn't work.

In the locker room after Friday's 45-13 loss to Colorado in the Rocky Mountain Showdown, an outcome fueled by many of the same mistakes made the week before, Colorado State coach Mike Bobo described the message as a challenge.

"It was challenge, and it wasn't a beat-down session," Bobo said. "It was basically you got your tail whipped, we've got to fix ourselves, we've got to listen, we've got to take coaching. It's not about words, it's about action. That's what it's about.
