LAS VEGAS — There was more to the moment than just being a first-time head coach.
For Mike Bobo, it was doing it in a different part of the country, heading from Georgia to Colorado. It meant setting up shop in a part of the country where he didn't recruit, learning about teams and players who made their living on finding the best talent there.
Bobo had to learn it all, and he did so by watching film.
"I remember it like it was yesterday. I'm watching Wyoming on defense, and this 28 just keeps making play after play," he recalled while waiting his turn to do more television interviews in Las Vegas at the Mountain West Media Summit.
