A trio of prospects represented the Rockies in the Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday, as Albuquerque outfielders Yonathan Daza and Sam Hilliard started while first baseman Roberto Ramos saw action off the bench.
Daza’s opposite-field, RBI triple in the second inning was the Isotopes’ highlight of the night as the Pacific Coast League dominated the International League 9-3 at Southwest University Park in El Paso, Texas.
The Venezuelan finished 1-for-3 with a run scored, while Hilliard was 0-for-3 with a run scored and Ramos walked in his lone plate appearance and scored a run.
