SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Reliever Yohan Flande is something of a forgotten man. Flande, 30, remains a longshot to make the 25-man roster, but he's making the Rockies take notice.
He pitched three innings of one-hit baseball Tuesday against Oakland, striking out two. His spring ERA is 1.29.
"He throws strikes, just fills up the strike zone," manager Walt Weiss said. "He has enough late movement that he keeps the ball off the barrel.
