The Rockies’ wins against the Marlins to start the series were filled with offensive success. Their losses, though, saw hits few and far between and runners left on bases. Despite the strong start to the season, history repeated itself with the Rockies struggling in Miami. Their big hitters, Nolan Arenado, Trevor Story, and David Dahl were very quiet, going 12-for-47 in the four games. Jon Gray was quite promising in his outing, with the exception of a two-run inning in the fourth. There was a bit of bad news, as he gave up yet another home run, making that 13 consecutive games he’s done so.
