While there are some options for trades with Nolan Arenado, we certainly would love to keep him here in Denver. He has said that he wants to win, and win the Rockies did in 2018. No, they didn’t get too far into the postseason, but they reached the playoffs two years in a row, something they had not done before. Going into 2019, they should have some real potential.
Basically, it’s time for the Rockies to put it all on the table for what they’re willing to offer Arenado. The sooner a deal can be made, the better, as it will affect team planning for the next year or so.
