The Colorado Rockies are reporting to their spring training home in Scottsdale, Arizona with a full 40-man roster an 23 non-roster invitees. These 63 players all have the same goal: to prepare for the upcoming 2025 baseball season and to hopefully be one of the 26 men named to the Rockies’ Opening Day roster.
However, for every new face there is an old one being replaced. Of the 54 players used by the Rockies in 2024, 20 did not return for the 2025 campaign. Today we take a look at where they ended up.
Retirement
It wasn’t much of a surprise when 37-year-old franchise outfielder Charlie Blackmon announced his intent to retire at the tail-end of the 2024 season.
