DENVER -- Rockies players and coaches got into the grounds crew act on Thursday night.
The Braves-Rockies game was delayed by a sudden and forceful rainstorm in the bottom of the first inning. The wind blew the tarpaulin out of the hands of the grounds crew.
But manager Walt Weiss and the Rockies weren't going to allow the workers to fight the tarp alone.
Tarp tried to fly off. Walt, Rosario, hale, bettis and Fort all helping tarp crew protect the field. So far Rockies are winning this game 0-0
