Eleven games and roughly two weeks into spring training, the Colorado Rockies have been a surprising amount of fun to watch. Out in the desert, the Rockies are 8-3 as the roster begins to take shape. The incumbent starters have had plenty of playing time, but so have a significant handful of prospects both on the 40-man roster or who attended camp as a non-roster invitee.
Although it’s far too early to jump to conclusions—and it’s unlikely the majority of our pebbles will make early appearances on the active roster—it’s been delightful to watch the young talent that makes up the future of this organization showcase their skills every beautiful spring afternoon.
