Rain, sleet and snow — not the Atlanta Braves — may be the Colorado Rockies’ biggest foe at the 2018 home opener at Coors Field Friday afternoon.
Even before Rockies’ hurler German Marquez takes the mound at 2:10 p.m. there could be snowflakes flying, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Fans should forget bringing their baseball gloves to 2001 Blake St. this afternoon for home opener festivities. Instead, bring your insulated winter gloves, boots and ski pants — cause it’s going to be brrrrr!
There’s a slight chance of rain and snow before noon, but then all bets are off.
