The Tampa Bay catcher, who’s batting .198 with 19 home runs, went yard in the sixth inning off of Mets pitcher Taijuan Walker. His blast traveled 410 to right field.
The solo shot gave the American League a 5-1 lead. It was the third home run of the game, following ones by Toronto’s Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Philadelphia’s J.T. Realmuto.
