Toronto’s Vladimir Guerrero Jr. blasted a 468-foot home run on Tuesday night at Coors Field to garner All-Star Game MVP honors — with a swing reminiscent of Vlad Sr. It jumpstarted a 5-2 victory for the American League.
“Dreams come true,” Guerrero said. “Since I was a kid, I was thinking about this moment. I worked all my life very hard. Thank God it’s happening right now.”
Guerrero, 22, is the youngest player to win the award in league history. His deep shot had the entire baseball world talking.
