Recently, I wrote an article titled “How the Rockies could trade for José Quintana.” In it, I put together four different trade packages that approximated what the White Sox asked the Astros for in a real life Quintana trade proposal. In each suggested package either Germán Márquez or Jeff Hoffman stood in for the Astros’ Joe Musgrove, a pitcher with some major league experience. It struck me that in the process of writing I never once considered adding Tyler Anderson to any of the proposals.
Turning this realization to a Twitter poll, I asked “If you are the Rockies or are a Rockies fan, who would you rather trade to fill an immediate need, Jeff Hoffman or Tyler Anderson?
