Seunghwan Oh has been put on the 10-day IL with an abdominal strain. He’s been struggling this year, giving up 19 runs in 18.1 innings pitched. This was somewhat disappointing after his success last year after being brought in to help boost Rockies relievers. This is likely his final showing in the United States, as his contract is up and he’s stated he’d like to finish his career in South Korea. Phillip Diehl was called up from Triple-A to take his place. Diehl’s had a 2.30 ERA in 23 appearances between Double- and Triple-A. The Rockies also announced that Tyler Anderson will undergo surgery on his knee.
