Trevor Story, Kyle Freeland and Bud Black weigh in on Rockies’ future

In the immediate aftermath of their disappointing, truncated, 60-game season, the Rockies pretty much said what you’d expect them to say.

The big questions about the team’s future and how the club might be constructed for 2021 were deferred to owner Dick Monfort, general manager Jeff Bridich and the front office.

Still, after an 11-3 loss at Arizona on Sunday that left them with a 26-34 record, there were hints about what must happen in order for the Rockies to turn things around. Here’s what manager Bud Black, shortstop Trevor Story and left-hander Kyle Freeland had to say:
