The Tourists lost to the Savannah Sand Gnats in game two of the first round South Atlantic League postseason. The Gnats win forces a deciding game three, which they will play tonight in Savannah.
Jesus Tinoco wasn't around to save the Tourists from the Sand Gnats on Friday. It wasn't a close game. After the Tourists went down in order in the top of the first inning, the Gnats sent 12 batters to the plate in the bottom half of the first. Starter Carlos Polanco was shelled for seven runs on five hits, two of which were doubles, and two walks.
