Top prospect Rodgers reassigned to Minors

The Rockies reassigned middle infielder Brendan Rodgers, their No. 1 prospect as ranked by MLB Pipeline, to Minor League camp on Tuesday. First baseman/outfielder Jordan Patterson, their No. 21 prospect, was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Infielder Garrett Hampson, Colorado's No. 7-ranked prospect, and catcher Jan Vazquez were also reassigned to Minor League camp.

The Rockies have 39 players, including five non-roster players, remaining in Major League camp.
