The Rockies had a weird week again, going 2-7 against the Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers. The worst game came on Tuesday, when they put up six early runs and were up 9-4 heading into the ninth inning, but a spectacular bullpen implosion that included a grand slam, a questionable check swing (that should’ve ended the game) followed immediately by a three-run game-winning homer meant they lost 11-9. But they bounced back on Wednesday with walk-off taco’s by Brenton Doyle, so they ended up splitting the Dodgers series 2-2.
They also made a flurry of roster moves yesterday.
