Kevin Henry takes a look at what the young players in Denver sports can bring to the table. The Broncos broke our hearts a little this season, but when we take a look around the city, there’s a lot that we have to look forward to. First: the Rockies. Our third baseman just got ranked number one in the league by Buster Olney. Twenty-six-year-old Nolan Arenado has already become a star for the Rockies, and many of us are looking forward to his future. Then there’s the Colorado Avalanche. They’ve got a star in 22-year-old Nathan MacKinnon, who could easily become an MVP contender in the NHL.
