The Rockies make another set of pitching moves

Prior to Mondays’ series opener against the Cleveland Guardians, the Colorado Rockies announced yet another series of pitching related roster moves. This comes after the last set of moves prior to their series against the Philadelphia Phillies began on Friday.

The morning started with the announcement that left-handed pitcher Austin Gomber had been scratched from his Sunday afternoon start. Skipper Bud Black stated the move was precautionary due to left arm soreness. Gomber is expected to make his next start, which will come against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
