MIAMI — Rockies starter-turned-reliever Antonio Senzatela figured he might have to pitch Friday night, but he never thought he would pick up a victory and smack the game-winning hit.
But that’s exactly what he did in a 1-0 victory over the Marlins. The right-hander pitched 3 u2154 innings of one-hit ball, striking out four and walking just one. He also drove in Gerardo Parra with a fifth-inning double for the game’s lone run.
Senzatela came to the plate with two outs after the Marlins intentionally walked Chris Iannetta with Parra perched on second base after a double of his own.
