Veteran utility-man Chris Owings is finally resuming baseball activities with his Colorado Rockies teammates. The 29-year old journeyman suffered a left thumb injury on April 9th in San Francisco, and he ended up requiring surgery that landed him on the 60-day IL. While it’s great to see that Owings is on schedule and will be returning to the team, the Rockies’ roster makeup is very different compared to when he was last with the team.
#Rockies SS Trevor Story and UTL Chris Owings, both trying to come off the injured list, are making throws from shortstop.
