DENVER -- After Trevor Story hit the longest homer since Statcast™ began tracking distance in 2015, crushing a 505-foot blast that landed on the left-field concourse in the fourth inning on Wednesday for his second in as many at-bats against the Giants, he added to his total, hitting his third homer of the game in the sixth inning -- his fifth blast of the series.
The three solo shots paced the Rockies to a 5-3 win to sweep the series with the Giants and extend their lead at the top of the National League West.
