The offseason has been long and quiet. Despite the lack of moves, spring training has finally started. In their first preseason game, the Rockies did well in showing what they’ve got. After a tough start to the game, the Rockies rebounded to prove that they can be more successful offensively than last year. There was a frightening moment when Trevor Story was hit by a pitch, but he seems to be okay. He suffered a bruise and is on a day-to-day basis, it could be worse. Ryan McMahon, Pat Valaika, and Tony Wolters all got hits.
