DENVER -- Rockies right-hander Jordan Lyles suffered a sprained toe on his left foot during Saturday's start against the Giants. He is listed as day to day.
Athletic trainers first came out to check on Lyles after Matt Duffy's RBI single in the fourth inning. Lyles stayed in the game but immediately threw a pickoff attempt past first baseman Wilin Rosario, which plated another run and handed the Giants a 3-1 lead.
Lyles finished the inning but faced only three batters in the fifth -- the last being Joe Panik, whom he hit -- before exiting with an athletic trainer by his side.
