Two winning streaks came to an end on Sunday against the Sim Twins. The Sim Rockies snapped their six-game winning streak dating back to last Sunday against the Sim Padres, and they snapped their six-game winning streak in extra inning games. Prior to Sunday’s game, they were 6-0 in extra inning games — all on the road. Now, they are 6-1 in extra innings.
Nolan Arenado got things started early, hitting a two-run shot in the first inning to put the Sim Rockies up 2-0. Daniel Murphy hit an RBI single in the third to score Trevor Story, who hit his 21st double to lead off the inning.
