Coors Field lived up to its reputation in Friday night’s game against the Sim Braves. The game saw a total of five home runs including a grand slam and multi-homer performance. Trevor Story led the way for the Rockies going 4-for-4 with a HR, 2 2B, and 3 RBI. The Braves kept it close when a grand slam off the bat of Ronald Acuña Jr brought them within one run of the Rockies. A fourth inning home run by Charlie Blackmon, his second of the game, gave the Rockies some cushion which they needed to secure the victory.
