Seunghwan Oh, unworried about his sour spring training stats, eager to be a bullpen force for the Rockies once again

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Statistically, spring training hasn’t been kind to Seunghwan Oh. The Rockies’ right-handed reliever has posted a 9.72 ERA in eight-plus innings, with a couple of homers served up and an eyebrow-raising .351 opponent average.

But the “Final Boss” and Colorado’s oldest player at 36 isn’t worried, noting the stiff neck he battled early in camp has alleviated and that he’s ready for whatever workload necessary after 2018 saw him become one of the club’s bullpen stabilizers.

“It wasn’t the perfect spring training that everyone always hopes for, but I think I got what I wanted out of it, and compared to the past few years my body is reacting really well,” Oh said.
