MIAMI -- The Rockies lost two starters on Friday, but they got outstanding relief work to shut out the Marlins, 1-0, in the series opener at Marlins Park.
Antonio Senzatela came on in relief of starter Tyler Anderson, who left the game in the second inning with a heartbeat issue, according to Rockies manager Bud Black. Senzatela went 3 2/3 innings of one-hit ball, striking out four and walking just one. He also drove in the only run of the game with a fifth-inning double.
The 23-year-old right-hander came to the plate with two outs after the Marlins intentionally walked Chris Iannetta with Gerardo Parra, who doubled, already on second base.
