Going into the ninth inning of Friday night’s game, the Rockies led the Padres 11-5. They lost the game 16-12. I’m no brain surgeon, but that seems really, really bad. Mike Dunn entered the game for the Rockies and promptly allowed three singles and a three-run home run to Hunter Renfroe, forcing Wade Davis into the game, where he promptly blew the save. Since the start of 2018, Mike Dunn has an 8.05 ERA in 34 2/3 innings. The Rockies have payed him $14 million dollars over that stretch.
